art is the key

We finally did it. We purchased a new lawn tractor last week. With nearly six acres of our little piece of the world to manicure on a regular basis, I welcomed the upgrade from our well worn twenty something year old lawn gear. It was certainly time.

Just as Sears promised, the delivery truck arrived three days after making the purchase and the crew unloaded the 54″ cut black beauty. What didn’t arrive however was the ignition key. As a result, instead of using the afternoon to test drive the 26 horsepower lawn beast while beautifying the ranch, I spent a little quality time with my Olympus camera instead. I was up for the challenge. The rear view of the tractor summed it up pretty well. Die Hard.

There are days when the key to creativity isn’t always in the ignition. For those rare occasions, I just need a little push.
