I’ve wanted to photograph this setting for months. I drive past it a few times everyday. I’ve always thought if I could catch the right light, it could be a really nice shoot. Today as I drove home from church, the setting welcomed me once again. The afternoon light was perfect. With my camera sitting beside me, I realized that today was the day I’d been waiting for.

During the months of wanting to shoot here, I never imagined I’d be doing so while wearing a suit and a tie, not to mention on a day when the wind chill was nearing 20 degrees. Lesson learned. Be prepared for the moment.
